Situation
Michael Page has been a preferred service provider to HSBC for over 10 years and currently has a national agreement which covers all Michael Page disciplines for a two year period. Part of this agreement includes the HSBC “Future Leaders” campaign - a management development program aimed to identify recent high calibre graduates across Australia and New Zealand.
Solution
A dedicated Michael Page project manager oversees this assignment and works extensively with HSBC to ensure a sourcing strategy that specifically meets their requirements. A tailored online application tool provides screening of volume applicants, full review and interviewing of candidates and complete offer management. The selection process included SHL testing, national interviews, assessment centre and final interviews with HSBC senior management.
Outcome
Michael Page has managed this tailored HSBC graduate project since 2005, successfully meeting all timelines. To date, almost 50 graduates have been placed with HSBC as a result of the campaigns.
