Media Release - April 2009

Michael Page International and the Australian School of Business, UNSW are launching a new scholarship for students undertaking the Strategic Management Year of the AGSM MBA (Executive) Program at the Australian School of Business.

"These scholarships are a valuable opportunity for post graduate students to further develop their skills and career prospects," said Marcus Sandmann, Head of Marketing & Customer Management for Asia Pacific.

The Michael Page International Scholarship, to be awarded for the first time in 2009, will be available to students who demonstrate leadership and management qualities; and to those who do not receive any financial support from employers or any other scholarship.

"As a recruitment firm specialising in the executive market we appreciate the importance of tertiary skills. By investing in these scholarships we are able to make a positive contribution to the development of Australia’s future business leaders," said Mr Sandmann.

"Scholarships are vitally important to enable talented students to further their studies and we appreciate this valuable support from Michael Page International" said Professor Alec Cameron, Dean of the Australian School of Business. "This scholarship demonstrates the commitment of Michael Page International to developing skilled professionals".
