Accomodation
Finding somewhere to live in London needs careful planning. The further out of London you live the cheaper the accommodation, but remember the cost of the tube! Popular areas for internationals are Hammersmith, Fulham, Shepherd’s Bush, Acton and Clapham. All of these places have their own bars, restaurants, shops and sports facilities whilst still only being a short distance to the city.
When renting a property be aware that a deposit is required, this is usually 1-6 weeks rent. If renting from an estate agent an administration fee is required this is usually around £100. Most leases are for 6-12 months and most landlords require proof of employment and bank references. Michael Page can provide you with a letter of reference for your landlord if you secure work through us.
