Manager of Financial Control - Big 4 bank, Melbourne

For this role, a Big 4 bank was looking for someone with international experience, preferably gained in the UK. The Michael Page Global Opportunities team located a highly qualified professional via an online job board. Though he was located in the UK, the candidate was looking to return home to Australia.

Michael Page Financial Services in Melbourne conducted an initial interview via Skype, and arranged for the candidate to meet with the client in person upon his return. He was hired on a fixed-term project basis.

E-Commerce Analyst - E-Commerce retailer, Melbourne

The Michael Page Global Opportunities team in London met with an experienced Campaign/Channel Manager who was travelling to Australia on a Working Holiday Visa, with the view to extend the stay via permanent sponsorship.

Upon her arrival in Australia, the Global Opportunities team was able to identify a suitable opportunity with a large E-Commerce retailer. The candidate managed to beat an impressive talent pool for an initial six month role as an E-Commerce Analyst. After six months the role became permanent with sponsorship.
