About Our Client
Our client is a global leader in the confectionery sector, as a result of their continued growth strategy they are currently looking for an Area Sales Manager to join their Sales Operations team.
Reporting to the State Operations Manager the Area Sales Manager will be responsible for ensuring achievement of the area sales targets, identifying and developing business growth opportunities, planning merchandise initiatives, building and maintaining relationships with key customers, working with the Sales Executives and Merchandisers to support them in operational issues concerning clients or the sales team and recruit, manage and develop a Merchandise team.
The Successful Applicant
As the preferred candidate you ideally possess 3-5 years experience with in the FMCG industry. You will have a track record within the grocery and route channel and your exceptional negotiation and communication skills will consistently maintain and grow existing relationships but also executing growth opportunities. Your presentation skills, lateral thinking, knowledge of trade and market, merchandising techniques and attention to detail will make you the ideal candidate for the position.
