About Our Client
Our client is a well established, growing organisation looking for an immediately available Assistant Financial Accountant for a 12+ month Fixed Term Contract for a maternity leave cover.
Reporting into the Financial Controller roles and responsibilities include:
- Preperation of financial statements
- Assisting with the preparation of budgets
- Assisting with the monthly management reports
- Reconciliation of the Balance sheet account and major balance sheet account
- Preparing the year end financial statements
- Assisting with the closing of accounts, preparation and positing of journal entries on a monthly basis
- Assisting with the maintenance of the asset register
- Preparing the FBT return and BAS preparation
- Review of the monthly management accounts.
The Successful Applicant
Successful candidates will be CA or CPA qualified or studying towards their qualifications. Candidates must have had experience in a similar role and strong technical financial accounting skills as well as knowledgeable about accounting standards. Candidates who have experience with Technology 1 or Finance 1 will be highly considered.
