About Our Client
Our client are highly experienced in the entertainment space. With multiple venues already they are now restructuring to re-position themselves in the market. This is an exciting time to join as they begin their growth journey. They now have room for an experienced Assistant Venue Managers with experience in retail operations and food & beverage.
Our client is looking for an experienced, dynamic Assistant Venue Manager. You will report directly to the Venue Manager and be responsible for the day to day operations of the venue. You will have strong operational and commercial experience within the entertainment space and the ability to lead and direct a small team in a fun environment. You will have a strong understanding of legislation and government compliance when hiring and training your team; you will oversee multiple facets of the business and be a hands on team leader.
The Successful Applicant
Our client is looking for a dynamic, energetic Assistant Venue Manager that has come from a similar role with a minimum of 2 years experience within the leisure industry or equivalent in the hospitality industry at supervisory level. You will have excellent technical skills with a strong background in food and beverage and excellent customer service skills. You will also be required to obtain:
- Working with children check clearance
- Police check
Other key skills:
- Strong communicator, ability to report up and down
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Strong leadership skills
- Minimum of a Diploma in Leisure & Health or Hospitality Management
The ideal candidates will have come from the entertainment or club space.
