About Our Client
My client is a brand new business to the Australian Market representing a global oil and lubricants brand to the market. This product and associated brand is a global leader with a strong background in motorsport sponsorship and ultimately boasts a high quality and globally recognised brand.
With a background largely in Europe, this business are looking to join the Australian Market with a highly valued product and frankly best in class rating.
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving new revenue channels across either the Automotive or broader Industrial Sectors. An exposure to customers within the Lubricants sector is important, however the ability and willingness to drive this brand as an autonomous contributor is essential.
The BDM will report into the APAC Sales Director, however will be the 'first boots on the ground' in Australia. You'll be a passionate business developer and will also be able to manage the long term relationships that you generate.
The Successful Applicant
The successful Business Development Manager will have a strong background selling Industrial or Automotive Lubricants from a B2B perspective. Retail exposure is not applicable.
A well networked individual with contacts and exposure to automotive manufacturers, mechanical and technical industries and the mining machinery sectors will be highly regarded.
A mature sales person with a strong level of autonomy will be the ideal cultural fit, somebody who can work remotely with a proven background of new business development is key.
