About Our Client
Our client is a world leading organisation in their field. Their global headquarters are based in Sydney and it has major regional centres in Australia, China, India and the UK, from which operations across more than 40 countries are managed.
Reporting into the Chief Operating Officer with a strong link into the Chief Executive you will be responsible for developing and overseeing the implementation of strategies to ensure the recruitment and retention of the world's best talent. This position also involves working across the organisation in each of the countries in which the organisation has offices to ensure an environment that is consistent with their values and strategic vision.
The successful candidate will build on the current HR function to further develop and implement a global HR strategy and ensure that the appropriate policies, procedures and systems are developed, understood and followed, both globally and regionally.
The Successful Applicant
To be successful in this role you must have a strong track record working in a senior HR role. You will have a background with a global organisation or an Australian organisation with global activities. In addition you will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate at all levels within a complex organisation. Note that occasional travel is required outside of Australia.
