My client is an internationally recognised retail brand, who are passionate about what they do and what they stand for. This Australian retail brand has grown in size and revenue consistently over the past 100 years and has come a long way from its humble beginnings. My client is looking to drive excellence throughout its business from the products it produces to the people that they hire in the support office. They are looking to drive creativity, design and innovation and believe that this is what makes their brand the success they are today.
The business is investing in its online presence and sales and has therefore invested in an online team to assist in driving success across this area. We are looking for a proven online product manager to join their small e-Commerce team.
Reporting into the e-Commerce manager, this is a highly visible and important role that my client is keen to invest the time in finding the right fit for the business and team. My client is looking for an online product manager who will join the newly created team. The focus of the role will be to own the product life-cycle online. Manage the product content across the brands and website, liaise with the retail buying team to ensure all current seasons and products are launched on time and to plan. You will be required to manage the product life cycle from end to end, including markdown execution and movement of range through to outlet. In this role you will be required to manage the meta data and ensure consistent maintenance which is critical to SEO performance. This role would suit an individual who is looking for the next challenge in a fast paced work environment where they can help drive a new team environment and culture from scratch!
The Successful Applicant
My client is looking for an online product manager, who has exposure to a fast paced retail environment with experience in:
- End to end management of product life cycle
- Management of promotional calendar
- Meta data maintenance - drive SEO performance
- Experience with CMS is essential
- Strong commercial acumen
- Experience in using Google Analytics
