About Our Client
Our client is a leading Global Engineering Consultancy specialising in delivering innovative solutions to a range of sectors including commercial buildings, transport infrastructure, health, and utilities. With strong presence in Australia, New Zealand, UK, and the Middle East, our client prides themselves on developing an outstanding partnership resulting in world class solutions. This is a newly created position supporting Director Level management that has arisen due to strong growth within their market share.
Reporting to Director Level, the role is accountable for the operation of the office including preparation of bids and tenders, financial performance, project performance, customer relationship management, and performance and support of the team. The role will require a pragmatic approach to problem solving and an eye for detail.
Other key responsibilities will include the following:
- The development of the office strategy with a keen understanding of the relevant strategic business drivers;
- Ensure project profitability is maintained and project cash flow is managed effectively;
- Assist with major submissions supporting teams to prepare and submit proposals and bids.

The Successful Applicant
Ideally with qualifications in Engineering or Business, the successful candidate will have experience leading the operations of a professional services business; within management consultancy, banking, legal, or accountancy. Understanding of the economic and building services market trends will be ideal, with the ability to identify future opportunities and ensure the business is best placed to meet market needs and drive business growth.
