About Our Client

As an early adopter of digital technologies, this organisation has been at the forefront of digital assets for more than 20 years and is one of the most trusted names in educational globally.
This global business has a well established worldwide footprint including the ANZ and APAC regions and is now looking for a senior sales professional to help drive and develop a range of newly developed products into the Australian K-12 sector.
In this well established role, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing the existing channels along with growing and developing new opportunities in the K-12 market. You will be targeting top tier decision makers in a range of senior education bodies including the Government and Private school sectors.
You will find yourself in a face to face sales role increasing brand awareness and focusing on the relevance and suitability of the product range for educators and students.
In addition to new business acquisition you will be responsible for managing long term relationships. You will act as the conduit between this business and the education sector across Australia and New Zealand.
The Successful Applicant
The successful applicant will have a strong balance of sales and commercial acumen along with a firm understanding of how the k-12 education sector operates.
In addition to an established network of board level connections within the education sector, the successful candidate will have a proven background in solution sales and will be experienced when tailoring their presentation to meet the needs of a client. Somebody who has a solid knowledge of ICT in education and understands the needs and requirements of today's educators and students will be very successful in this position.
As an experienced people leader you will also be responsible for managing the local sales team and helping to coach and develop to ensure growth and development of your business. You'll be well versed in attending tradeshows and exhibitions and will understand the nuances of the ANZ markets.
