The Sales Development Manager is a newly created position in which you will become an integral leader of the business. You will be tasked with creating and driving a culture where people are motivated and developed in order to achieve their very best and maximise performance.
This is a hybrid position as the Sales Development Manager will be responsible for all HR matters internally combined with providing training and development to all staff with a key focus on the field sales team across Australia & New Zealand.
- Refine a strategic HR processes to support a business of this size, including recruitment, goals setting and appraisal, pay review, organisational development & performance management.
- Identifying and providing solutions to close performance gaps, through learning and development interventions
- Assess field sales team requirement and develop ongoing sales field training strategy

Head quartered in the UK, the Sales Development Manager will equip the Australian Sales force with the selling tools they need to drive slicker negotiations, drive continued brand awareness and remain the preferred tool of trade for the hair industry.
The Successful Applicant
You will have the ability to deliver training & development in a confident and articulate manner. You will be robust and resilient, a real people champion who will hold a team to account. You will be able to challenge employees in a constructive way at all levels of the business and have the capacity to work across a broad spectrum of activities. A proven ability to develop tailored learning programmes for senior sales leaders which deliver tangible return on investment would be beneficial.
