An exciting opportunity exists to join the sales team as a Sales Executive covering a geographical territory in the Melbourne Metro area. The role of a Sales Executive will involve the responsibility of managing an existing customer portfolio while also engaging in new business development activities. Overseeing the implementation of promotional plans to maximum effect and ensuring sales targets and other performance indicators are met and exceeded for your territory. Communicating competitor activities and gaining an understanding of the product category and landscape will be essential to your success in this role.
The Successful Applicant
To be successful within this role you will ideally bring with you prior experience selling or merchandising in the FMCG space. You will be degree qualified - ideally from a business or commerce field, however essential to your success will be your excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills. You will be a self starter that is pro-active and driven to exceed targets.
