A global brand within the window/door hardware industry with a premium range of products used on some of the world most high profile projects.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a multinational organisation in the building materials industry and a premium brand within the window/door hardware sector.
Reporting into the General Manager - APAC Region the primary focus of the Sales Manager will be the overall commercial responsibility for the VIC, SA & TAS sales function by providing superior service to large account base and introducing opportunities to new customers.
- Provide leadership & strategic direction to the customer service team;
- Develop long and short term plans to support business objectives for VIC, SA and Tas;
- Management of Major Accounts in VIC, SA and Tas with some National Companies;
- Coach and develop customers to understand the reason to use products;
- Improve processes & procedures in the VIC, SA & TAS sales teams to meet customer demands;
- Work in conjunction with the General Manager to initiate all Sales activities in regions.
- Monthly forecasting and reporting to the Management Team;
The Successful Applicant
The candidate must have experience within the door/window hardware industry and proven success in business development and sales management.
- A Hands On' Sales Professional.
- Strategic thinker with a sense of urgency.
- Be really well organised.
- Understand the value of Account Management.
- Sound analytic skills & ability to prepare proposals and feedback to customers
