About Our Client
My Client is a multinational technology company with a rich history spanning decades. The company designs, manufactures and sells IT infrastructure and services at a worldwide level and sits on the Forbes 50 list.
This is an important time of acceleration for Service Providers across APAC.
Being a key driver in collaboration between service delivery, sales and engineering the successful candidate will ensure they cater to the operational and technological needs of some of the world's largest Service Providers. To create a truly next generation portfolio that serves our Service Provider business, he/she must understand the needs of these customers, providing them with services that support emerging technologies including Software Defined Networking, Cloud, Data Center services, Virtualization and Internet of Things etc.
The successful candidate will enable growth by identifying opportunities in the portfolio and delivering a compelling services value proposition that addresses the needs of global service providers. It requires experience on what enables top line growth and what drives healthy gross margin.
This individual will be responsible for representing APAC requirements to Product Management, influencing the direction of the roadmap with fit for purpose offers for this region. He/she will be accountable for aligning APAC cross-functional points of view into a cohesive view of the region's Global Service Provider needs and strategy across teams and stakeholders.
Lastly the successful candidate will oversee an integrated Technical Services communication strategy for Global Service Providers, providing relevant and cohesive positioning.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will require the following;
1) Strong technical knowledge of traditional infrastructure as well as virtualisation, software defined networking, network function virtualisation and Internet of things
2) Service provider domain knowledge
3) Post sales technical services experience
4) Strong influencing capabilities and ability to fully understand customer requirements by participating in customer workshops
