Our client is an Australian energy retailer, currently supplying electricity, gas and green energy to mass market, small and large business customers in Victoria and South Australia. Our client is a subsidiary of a global power company listed on the London stock exchange. The client is one of Australia’s leading independent energy companies, with assets in Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia.

Job Description

The primary focus of your role will be to identify, develop, and manage relevant residential and small to medium business sales campaigns and strategies through multi channel and outsourced sales providers. You will be required to prospect to develop innovative methods to execute customised deals with multi - site/multi segment customers and or channel partners. You will be focused on driving sales strategy through leadership with a 'hands on' approach to channel management.

Along with this you will also:

  • Work closely with key internal stakeholders to maximize effectiveness
  • Build strong relationships with key external stakeholders
  • Effectively manage outsourced sales providers
  • Build strong networks to ensure effective sales campaigns
  • Assist with commercial negotiations, arrangements and agreements
  • Mitigate risks involved with selling energy in a multi channel environment

The Successful Applicant

Ideally the successful applicant will have:

  • Experience managing and influencing outsourced sales providers
  • The ability to drive change
  • Experience in developing strategy to increase revenue
  • Have a 'hands on' approach with proactive leadership skills
  • The ability to work in a team and to effectively utilise internal resources
  • Experience within the energy industry will be highly regarded
