About Our Client
Our client is an Australian owned retail organisation that uses Finance1 from the Technology One Business Software Group as its ERP. Our client is going through an exciting growth period, which has necessitated a total overhaul of its IT infrastructure.

Job Description
Reporting to the Group IT Manager, the core objective of this role is to prepare and use analytical data to empower our client in their business decision making process. The Finance1 Business Analyst will be heavily involved in analytical work, providing recommendations, facilitating implementations, and trouble-shooting Finance1, as well as SQL administration.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have very strong technical analytical skills across Finance1, plus good knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server. You will also have good business acumen and be able to demonstrate innovative thought in providing business recommendations.

Key skills include:

• Proven ability to use various business analysis techniques to generate ideas and areas of focus for improvement of performance in the various modules of Finance1 used, including supply chain, purchasing, AP, AR, warehousing and finance.
• Excellent communication, engagement and negotiation skills and an ability to work collaboratively
• Demonstrated drive for continuous improvement

Aside from the standard business analysis capabilities, our client is looking for someone who is technically savvy and who has a long term view to making a difference to our client's organisation.

POS exposure is a bonus.
