Covering a wide range of Infrastructure industries Our Client is a main player in the Power, Energy and Resources markets within Australia. Currently the have in excess of $5bn worth of work on their order book.

Our client is based in Sydney and is looking for a Bid Manager with experience in Power Generation projects.

Job Description

Our client is looking for a Bid Manager to head up/lead bids within the Power Generation and Transmission & Distribution markets. The main roles will be, but not be limited to, the following;

  • Work alongside sales/business development team to assess and quantify opportunities
  • Assemble and manager the 'Bid Team' - Consisting of Technical, Commercial, Estimating and Delivery
  • Targeting large industrial projects in Power Generation fields
  • Reporting directly to the National GM of Power

The Successful Applicant

The successful applicant, first and foremost, must have acted as bid manager with a Tier 1 organisation on Large Industrial Projects and have experience in Power Generation. Other requirements include;

  • Proven ability to manage employees from diverse disciplines and backgrounds
  • Proven track record of successfully winning Large Value bids in Australia
  • Previous work experience with a Tier 1 Main Contractor in Australia
  • Either commuting distance of, or able to relocate to Sydney
