Job Description

Due to continuing growth and success our client is currently looking for an experienced sales person to join their successful Sales Team working within the carton Packaging business. Working from a Western Sydney office, you will be visiting clients, maximising business and problem solving. You will be reporting directly to the Sales and Marketing Manager and have full responsibility and autonomy over your business. Typical duties include:

• Servicing & managing existing customer base
• Development of new business opportunities
• Prepare & Conducting presentations and negotiations with customers
• Have the ability to interpret technical issues

The Successful Applicant

Ideally, you will have previous sales experience within the packaging industry. You will be working within a close sales team, but have the ability to think on your feet and make decisions regarding your business. Our client prides itself on its policy of continued staff training and development with a philosophy that even old dogs can learn new tricks. This role would suit someone with a passion and desire to succeed. Personality and drive are the key characteristics within the sales team. Previous experience in packaging sales would be preferred, although there is no preference in terms of the sort of product. Typical backgrounds are as follows:

• Be an experienced sales executive
• Have a proven track record of reaching & exceeding sales targets
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Experience within packaging sales
