Job Description

The Financial & Retail Partnerships Manager takes a lead role in the Commercial Services & Strategic Partnership Group by identifying and developing profitable business opportunities and partnerships within the Financial Services sector that will have significant impact on the way we conduct our business and be focused on the strategic vision of the Retail Services Group.

  • Work with the Financial & Retail Partnerships Manager to deliver on the Retail Partner Strategy Development plan
  • Take the lead on working with strategic Partners to gather and analyse their requirements when engaging with the Financial & Commercial Services Group
  • Coordinate and direct the Commercial Analysts to prepare industry and company analysis to assist with the identification of possible opportunities for the group
  • Develop Partner Profiling & Landscaping, identify those organisations that complement and complete the Financial & Commercial services strategic plan
  • Partner Evaluation & Selection

The Successful Applicant

  • Successful track record in acquiring new strategic partnerships that deliver profitable outcomes
  • History of developing and executing partnership vision statements, roadmaps and playbooks
  • Demonstrate a successful track record of strategic sales or strategic alliances with Financial Services and/or Retail organizations
  • Successful track record of engaging and influencing internal stakeholders and suppliers
  • Ability to transform key business relationships from “transactional” to “strategic partnerships”
  • Financial Services and/or Retail Industry knowledge
  • Demonstrated high level understanding of financial, analytical, modelling and problem solving skills Value proposition development methods and tools
  • Contract preparation and negotiation experience at C level a necessity
