About Our Client
A highly reputable and well established educational institute in Australia is now looking for a dynamic and talented Business Intelligence consultant to join their Data Warehousing and Reporting team.

Job Description

Reporting to the Manager Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing, your key responsibility as a Business Intelligence Consultant will be to liaise with the business to gather new requirements with an aim of improving the system functionality. You will need to engage with a range of different stake holders internally and externally and elicit their requirements so prior experience in gathering requirements, designing and building solutions is key. You will also need to configure Cognos reporting platforms semantic layer.

The Successful Applicant

To be successful in this role, you need to have :

• Strong experience in IBM Cognos Business Intelligence products including Query Studio, Report Studio, Transformer and Administrator
• Experience working with SQL Server, DB2 and Oracle databases
• Good knowledge of Data Warehousing principles and architectures
• Tertiary qualification and certifications in Cognos is highly regarded
