About Our Client

My client is a Joint Venture between four major businesses. They are looking to re-list a previous ASX entity and have joined a range of exploration tenements together.

The business will be looking to IPO around Q2 and offer an exciting, hands on role for a CFO looking for a challenge within a greenfields environment.

Job Description

The role will initially be stand alone and take responsibility to the financial and commercial reporting for the business. It will require a high degree of hands on work and look after the financial and analytical reports for the business.

Working closely with the MD, the successful candidate will manage cashflow, budgets and board reporting, while also having a strong exposure to the operations side of the business.

Finally, the role will also be responsible for all ASX reporting, and shareholder dealings within the corporate department.

The role will also be heavily involved in assisting the IPO, looking likely to occur in Q2 2012.

The Successful Applicant

The role requires quite a broad skill-set, with the key areas as follows:

- Strong exposure to the Mining industry, ideally within the exploration / production fields.

- Strong technical skills, both from a financial and company secretarial standpoint.

- Previous and proven ability to manage both Financial and Company Secretarial duties.

- Strong ability to work autonomously and assist in the growth of the business. Previous experience working within small businesses will be highly regarded.

- Short notice availability from around February 2012 would also be beneficial.

What's On Offer

The role will offer a competitive hourly rate and an initial period of temporary employment. Past this period, there is the likelihood the role will go permanent.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to build a Mining company from the outset.
