About Our Client
Established by the Australian State and Territory Governments in 2005, NEHTA has been tasked to reform the electronic health systems of Australia. Its remit is to develop better ways of electronically collecting and securely exchanging health information by fostering the development of the standards and infrastructure necessary to deliver the best e-health system for Australia. An effective e-health system has the potential to unlock substantially greater quality, safety and efficiency benefits for all Australians.

Job Description
Reporting to the COO, you will have the opportunity to drive change and improvement throughout the organisation by providing leadership, strategic direction and strong commercial management. You will be responsible for managing the finance function and operate as a member of the executive team by providing comprehensive financial information and advice. Management of key internal and external stakeholder relationships and the development of financial systems, KPI?s and management strategies will also be pivotal to this role.

The Successful Applicant
CA/CPA qualified, you will demonstrate the ability to manage and develop staff while working effectively with operational management at a strategic level with hands-on capability when required. A track record in fulfilling statutory requirements in a complex organisation and developing and improving systems and procedures is required.
