About Our Client
An extremely rare opportunity has arisen for a finance leader (CFO) with a genuine passion for social justice, to play a critical role in the progression of this notable organisation. Our client is a commercial and government funded organisation committed to making a difference in the environment and lifestyle of community members. The horizon looks particularly exciting, with the commencement of large-scale development projects in NSW.

Job Description
Based South of the city, this is a diverse leadership position that spans both commercial involvement, strategy and financial control. You will be intimately involved in negotiations with external funding agencies and stakeholders regarding development projects and future transactions. Similarly, you will work closely with the CEO and Project Managers in identification of new project opportunities/investments, and the associated feasibility analysis focusing on financing, cost structures and economic viability. You will manage a small team responsible for the day-to-day operating activities of a finance team, and be involved in the more complex areas relating to statutory reporting and structuring.

The Successful Applicant
The role demands a creative and business minded CFO with a proactive attitude to build a progressive minded team. A demonstrated track record within the community services sector or a related services business would be an advantage. The ability to see beyond the numbers in planning the strategic direction and executing plans is critical, as is ensuring a corporate environment. Previous experience in property development will be highly regarded. CA/CPA qualified, you will thrive in an environment where you can give back to the community and see the real impact of the organisation you are working for.
