About Our Client
This company is dedicated to providing exceptional delivery of road works, bulk earth works, water treatment and commercial building projects throughout Australia. Our client works with a range of enterprises and has an impressive client list, including governmental bodies. They are offering a Project Manager or Senior Project Engineer, with experience in RTA roads, the opportunity to learn and grow within the organisation. This Contractor has offices in South Sydney and Newcastle. They are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and ready to take the next step in their career.

Job Description

As the Project Manager you will be overseeing the administration of the entire life cycle of the project, with key areas of responsibility including, but not limited to the following;

• Supervise a wide range of RTA roads construction and maintenance projects
• Evaluate progress of each project phase
• Prepare reports indicating procedure adherence and project progress
• Ensure contractors are in compliance with project plans and specifications
• Lead the on-site construction and engineering teams to ensure the project is delivered on time.
• Provide accurate & up-to-date
• Cost Reports forecasting anticipated final cost & current commitments.
• Ensuring delivery of projects to a defined standard of quality

The Successful Applicant

To ideal Project Manager will be able to demonstrate the following attributes;

• A background in Civil Project Engineering
• Experience of RTA projects and bulk earthworks
• Thorough understanding of OH & S Regulations and RTA specification
• Tertiary qualifications would be an advantage
• Excellent verbal and written communication with experience liaising with clients and stakeholders
• Commercial acumen
• Flexibility in respect of work location
