Regarded as a highly progressive organisation boasting a substantial project management function with over 400 personnel nationwide. Stockmarket-listed, they continue to demonstrate strong market performance and have generated excellent returns. In 2011/12 they are forecasted to expand further, with a wide variety of new construction vacancies expected to arise. Currently they require talented Project Managers to join the construction team and contribute to this growth through delivery of a range of varied and challenging projects.

Job Description

As Project Manager your key responsibilities include:

• Project Delivery - Manage and coordinate all required construction activities to ensure delivery of new commercial, mixed use and retail sites and refurbished sites as detailed in the strategic plan to the defined time, cost and quality requirements.
• Provide accurate & up-to-date Cost Reports forecasting anticipated final cost & current commitments.
• Delivery of projects to a defined standard of quality

The Successful Applicant

• Tertiary Qualification is required
• Demonstrated track record of managing multi-disciplinary project teams, Building Contractors and specialist Sub contractors in completing complex building & services projects across commercial, infrastructure and civil sectors to Cost, Time, Quality and Safety Objectives.
• Proven ability to prepare contract documentation involving all aspects of Standard Contracts, specifications, programming & Drawing and negotiate required outcomes
• Excellent communications, negotiation & management skills
