About Our Client
Our Client is seeking an experienced Coal Exploration Geologist to join a team of senior professionals working on underground and opencut coal mining projects. The position will be based in Brisbane CBD.

Job Description
As a Coal Exploration Geologist you will participate in multi-disciplinary due diligence and feasibility study teams. You will primarily be responsible for Geology modeling for reporting. The role presents an exciting opportunity to develop a career with a global resource company, developing a variety of coal projects.

The Successful Applicant

• Tertiary qualification in geology .
• Coal geology experience of 5 years or more.
• Experience using Minescape or Vulcan software.
• A strong understanding of metallurgical and thermal coal quality, coal compositing and coal yield calculation.
