Global Network Designer to join the investment banking division of Australia's largest financial services organisations in Melbourne's CBD.
Job Description
This is your opportunity to assist in the realisation of the strategic roadmap for the Global network infrastructure and utilise your technical expertise in the detailed design, implementation and 3rd level support of network infrastructure supporting Australia, NZ, Asia, US and UK operations. Our ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of enterprise-scale, high-availability (multi time zone) network design and implementation as well as extensive complex support of environments of 150 + Cisco devices.The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing and supporting communications infrastructure for BAU and project activities including Global wireless, VC, MPLS, n-tier networking and security implementations.
The Successful Applicant
To be successful in this role you will offer an in-depth knowledge of:
- Proven experience supporting and designing large-scale network environments (minimum 3 years design experience) and associated professional certifications - CCDA or CCIE preferred
- Cisco switches and routers Firewalls - Cisco PIX and Checkpoint Caches, QOS, network management (Cisco Works, Netflow, Spectrum) IPTel, Video Conferencing, IPSec and SSL VPN's and wireless technologies
