About Our Client

A Global Chemical Business Based in the South East.

Job Description

You will be responsible for identifying the cause of waste and inefficiency within manufacturing processes and creating and implementing mechanical engineering solutions to provide permanent fixes across the site. You will then be responsible for standardizing these improvements to make processes consistent and repeatable. In time you will be mentored to become the lean Manager, responsible for end to end development of manufacturing processes for new products.

You will need to use your Engineering Qualifications and Lean Skills to complete your duties in this role.

The Successful Applicant

Must have an Engineering Degree.

Must have project experience using Value Stream Mapping.

Must be qualified with all Lean Principals and tools.

Show that you have completed projects in your career that had a significant monetary value to the business.

Be able to communicate well with the Lean Manufacturing Manager and also liaise with staff on the factory floor.
