About Our Client
Our client is one of Australia’s most established and recognised organisations within the filtration, separation and purification markets. Their innovation towards wide range of services for water systems has resulted in significant growth in recent years. Due to this growth our client is seeking a Project Electrical Engineer on contract.

Job Description

Reporting to the Engineering Manager the key responsibilities of the role involve:

• Understanding the fundamental principles and applications of Filtration and Separation technologies.
• Electrical design, equipment layout design, starter circuit design, power distribution design, control panel design, development of load lists, instrument lists, IO lists and motor list.
• Drawing in single line diagram, starter circuit and PLC IO circuit design in AutoCAD.
• Management of sub contractors.
• Thorough working knowledge of Australian and International Standards used in the design of Process Plant packages.
• PLC and SCADA programming.

The Successful Applicant

This Contract Project Electrical Engineer role will require the successful candidate to posses sound projects skills. In addition the successful applicants will posses the following skills:

• Minimum 5 years experience within a project engineering, designing of electrical systems in a process environment and knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, starter circuits, VSDs.
• Knowledge of process equipment such as valves, pumps and instrumentation.
• Previous experience with advanced water treatment technologies, (RO, MF, ION Exchange), preferred but not essential.
• Knowledge of PLC / SCADA controlled systems Clean driving license.
