Our client is one of Australia’s leading support organizations in the Mining and Resource sector, servicing the Asia Pacific region. Their innovation towards process technology has resulted in significant growth in recent years. Due to this growth our client is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer on contract.

Job Description
As a key member of the engineering team, you will be given the opportunity to apply your commercial, engineering and project management skills within an environment which recognises and rewards high performance within the business. In addition, as Mechanical Project Engineer you will be offered the opportunity to utilize your skills and enhance your experience across a broad level of projects involving, fabrication, machining, fitting and design for clients in the mining, resource and maintenance sectors.

The Successful Applicant

This Contract Mechanical Project Engineer role will require the successful candidate to posses sound project management skills and the capability to engage in array of projects with exposure to full life cycle. In addition the successful applicants will posses the following skills:

• Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
• A minimum of 2-5 years experience in a Project Engineering role
• Exposure to projects in the relevant sector.
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
• Willingness to supervise more junior members of the staff is preferable.
