Our client is a leading provider within the Telecommunications industry. They are recognised as the leader in the provision of business communication services to major corporations and SME's alike. In line with significant business growth they now require a highly motivated, self sufficient account manager to join there energetic sales team in the Melbourne office.

Job Description

This role requires an ambitious, self starter who can manage a portfolio of high value accounts. You will be required to gain appointments, run face to face meetings, make sales presentations, multi task, develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate accounts (8-10). You will have existing knowledge and experience within the ICT sector that will enable you to sell the full suite of services on offer, ranging from Voice, Fixed Line, Data and Mobility Services. The role will have you engaging with key internal and external stakeholders at all levels within corporate organisations. Other key responsibilities will include:

  • Negotiating and closing deals via solution selling techniques
  • Manage and expand revenue from existing client base
  • Schedule appointments with key stakeholders (Internal and External)
  • Excellent data and analytical skills
  • Adaptable to all circumstances
  • Strategically minded
  • Leadership capabilities

The Successful Applicant

Ideally you will have 5+ years experience in an account management role within the ICT sector. You will be a determined and enthusiastic account manager with a desire to join a leader in the telecommunications industry that rewards and recognises their top performers. You will know how to navigate your way around large corporate accounts, identify key decision makers, and have the ability to develop differentiated solutions that meet the needs of the client. As well as the above you will have:

  • Experience in Account Managing high value accounts
  • A strong track record of outstanding sales achievements
  • Experience in solution selling into B2B Corporates
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to prioritise, organise and multi-task at a high level,
  • Advanced networking and relationship building skills
  • Positive can do attitude
  • Advanced interpersonal skills
