About Our Client
Is a market leading global manufacturing business based within 15Km of Melbourne's CBD.

Job Description

As part of the engineering and development team my client is looking to add additional resource due to an increase in demand, orders and work load.

You will also be required to:

• Support Current and New product design and development projects as required

• Create and update component and sub-systems using 3D CAD tools (Pro-Engineer). Generate 2D drawings from 3D CAD models according to design standards.

• Prepare and release Engineering Change Orders (ECO) using the in-house ERP system.

• Understand the purpose, usage and worth of engineering processes and document formats (NPD, FMEA, concept sheets, internal design standards, industry design standards).

• Deploy a high degree of competency in the execution of the following core tasks.

• Support Continuous Improvement activities within the Engineering community

The Successful Applicant
To be considered for the role you must be degree qualified with previous experience and working knowledge of plastic moulding and products design. In addition, you will have a hands-on approach to Engineering Design and Development.
