About Our Client
Our client is one of Australia's most diversified Contracting, Engineering and Services Provider. Our client has a significant market share of projects in sectors such as Roads, Rail, Oil & Gas as well as Power & Energy. They are currently seeking an Electrical Estimator to work for their National Power & Energy division.

Job Description

Our client is looking for an Estimator with a large Electrical bias to be based out of their Sydney CBD Office, but working on projects across Australia (a National role). The successful candidates duties will include, but not be limited to the following;

• Reporting to the Pre-Contracts Manager
• Pricing and Comparative Analysis on Electrical Projects (Transmission & Distribution, HV/LV, Substations etc)
• Hold meetings with required teams to obtain details and information - e.g. Engineering, Design etc.
• Ensure estimation plans meet budget requirements for the project.

The Successful Applicant

The successful applicant would require the following traits and experience;

• Previously experience as an Estimator working on electrical projects such as Substations and Transmission & Distribution.
• Degree Qualified - Preferentially in Electrical Engineering or similar
• This is not a position for a Project Engineer who thinks they can Estimate, this is a role for a candidate with a Proven track record as an Estimator.
