Job Description

As Electrical Supervisor you will be responsible for the following:

  • Coordinating site project activities
  • Ensuring the electrical/instrumentation reliability of plant and equipment
  • Ensure work is done within agreed time schedules and minimise downtime of contractors on site
  • Provide advice to Project Engineers in regard to on site issues
  • Interact with clients to ensure work is performed to standards, all issues are resolved and project quality is maintained at all times
  • Contribute to a healthy, safe and environmentally compliant workplace by ensuring all contractors are inducted and all OH&S standards are adhered to

The Successful Applicant

To be considered for the position of Electrical Project Supervisor you will posses the following:

  • Electrical/Instrumentation trade background
  • Prior experience in supervisory role
  • WA Electrical A Class License
  • Have demonstrated a performance in safety management, which includes experience with Hazard/Risk Assessment, Job Safety Analysis and a basic understanding of OH&S regulations
  • Site installation experience
  • Site commissioning/loop testing experience
  • Experience of working within cement and mining industry
  • Have excellent interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills
