This leading International Bank, with an established record of continuing success through challenging periods. They require an experienced Product Controller to join their Equities team in Sydney.

Job Description

The purpose of this role is to partner to the business providing insight and information to the front office.

The role will include:

• Advice to the business on trading activity
• Reviewing accounting and pricing framework
• Daily, monthly and yearly financial reporting
• Analysis of new structures; restructuring and disposal opportunities
• review of technical accounting issues
• Improve pricing and reserving procedures and control environment
• Prepare daily PnL reporting

The Successful Applicant

We are looking for an experienced Equities Product Controller.

This reporting element of this role is key however excellent internal processes mean the bulk of your work will be focused on adding value and the provision of ad-hoc advise on business activities.

Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential as you will deal with numerous stakeholders.
