Job Description

To assist the firm's current ambitious growth plans, Ernst & Young is looking to recruit a number of high-calibre Tax Managers, Senior Managers and Directors from Australia and New Zealand to work in their UK practice. Full relocation and support, along with integration into the UK practice will be provided.

Ernst & Young's Tax practice provides tax advisory, transactions and compliance services to a variety of clients across both Financial Services (FS) and non- Financial Services markets. The VAT team focuses on a client portfolio that includes a majority of the world's leading corporations and FS institutions. The Ernst & Young VAT practice is headed by some of the market's leading advisors. In certain industry sectors we're looking to grow rapidly, so your opportunity to develop and progress is strong.

The Successful Applicant

For opportunities in GST/VAT you are likely to be/have:

• ACA / CA / Tax Inspectors with full Technical Training course / Law qualification / Tax specialist qualification / or breadth of knowledge equivalent to a Tax specialist qualification

• Relevant VAT/GST experience

• If applying for opportunities within FS, FS industry and product knowledge preferred

• Ensure delivery of quality work and take day to day leadership of delivery team

• Business development skills, able to identify and convert opportunities to sell work

• Negotiation skills, able to sustain opinion
