About Our Client
Our client is an industry leader in their field with a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and truly motivated Group Financial Controller to take a senior financial role within this company. Operating in the manufacturing and maintenance space, they service a range of clients in both the commercial and public sectors.

Job Description

Reporting to the CFO, the key responsibilities of the role will include:

• Managing the consolidation processes and producing statutory, financial and management reports;
• Preparation of timely annual and quarterly consolidated financial statements and business analysis;
• Implementing effective process improvements and execute systems upgrade;
• Liaise with senior executives and other managers on long term business plans to optimise revenue;
• Management of the accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and general ledger teams;
• Develop, manage and mentor a remote finance team.

The Successful Applicant
In order to be considered for this role, the successful candidate will be professionally qualified preferably a chartered accountant. Our client requires significant previous experience, as well as having trained within the 'Big 4'. The successful candidate should have a proven track record of success in a manufacturing, construction or project focused environment, as well as having strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to mentor and lead a team.
