Job Description

As the Head of Channel this position will see you assume responsibility for all trade activity across their key channels to market. You'll be tasked with developing and implementing the customer marketing and channel strategies for the Australian business in line with the trade strategy. In addition you'll also ensure the necessary infrastructure and processes are in place to deliver brand and trade programs to meet both business and customer segment requirements. Your key focuses will include:

• Leadership of the account management team (c. 24pax)
• Develop and implement collaborative customer plans with key retail partners
• Deliver key volume and financial targets

The Successful Applicant

You'll be an experienced and highly driven individual with a track record of success in leadership and highly level customer management (Grocery / P&C are prerequisites) in a leading FMCG organization. You'll be able to draw on your experience of leading negotiation processes with the major retailers and will be adept at inspiring and building a vision for your people to enhance performance. Exposure to trade marketing strategy and execution is highly desirable.

In addition to the above you'll be focused on longer term career progression and development and will be open-minded about your career progression with reference to moving internationally or cross-functionally as part of your development plans.
