About Our Client
Our client is a leading company special sing in steel manufacturing with more than 10 subsidiaries in China with headquarter in Hong Kong. To deal with the rapid growth of the business, our client is looking for a high caliber for this role. The company offers a golden opportunity for high caliber internal audit professional as the Head of Internal Audit role.

Job Description
Reporting to the CEO and work closely with the Financial Controller, you will take full responsibility for performing financial and operational audits focusing on the China Region and position is based in Hong Kong. You will have a leadership role in process re-engineering and improvement activities to streamline the audit procedures and ensure best practice and effective control across the region. You will perform internal audit and risk assessments from planning stage to execution, ensuring that policies and procedures comply with approved standards. In addition, you will identify risk areas and cost control issues, make recommendations on improvement measures as well as participate in ad hoc assignments.

The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will be a proactive and highly motivated leader who is independent, analytical and detail oriented. Big 4 training is not necessary and you will be an accountant qualified/half qualified with at least 5-6 years of experience in audit firm and commercial industry preferably in PRC company. Outstanding interpersonal skills with a hands-on and energetic approach will be sought. Fluency in Cantonese, Mandarin are essential, Fluency in English will be an advantage.
