Job Description
Reporting into the IT Director you will be responsible for leading a team to ensure that all internally developed web and software solutions are delivered to a high standard, meeting the specific requirements of the business. The role is accountable for various elements of the software development life cycle including system design, development, integration, testing and delivery. Be responsible for website and business system developments, ensure all code development, data integrity and integration techniques are delivered to a very high standard, adopting an industry best practice. You will engage directly with the business at all levels.

The Successful Applicant

To be successful in the position available you must have strong management experience and technical development experience. Demonstrated commercial experience with PHP and Java (JEE) with some .net preferred. Strong capability across multiple desktop and server operating systems Windows, Linux, Unix. A strong capability across multiple web servers and content management solutions eg Tomcat, Apache, Joomla, Drupal. Excellent database capabilities MySQL, MS-SQL, very strong integration capability DTS, SISS and business intelligence development. Excellent communication skills and strong stakeholder management skills.
