Job Description
Reporting into the Site Engineering Manager, the Electrical Engineer will form an integral part of the engineering management team for a well known manufacturer. You will be responsible for managing and providing technical support to 10 Electricians and will be focused on delivering improved performance across the engineering team in line with closely monitored KPIs. This role has a strong emphasis on people management and you will take full responsibility for the development and improvement of the team. Working closely with the senior management team, you will assist in the delivery of engineering strategy and significant capital investment projects. You will be responsible for ensuring all activities on site are in accordance with Work Regulations and in conjunction with other stringent Health & Safety policy.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will be required to match the following criteria:

• A proven track record in managing an engineering team within a fast moving manufacturing environment

• An electrically biased track record with an excellent understand of Siemens PLC systems, Allan Bradley and instrumentation skills coupled with an "A" Grade electricians license.

• An ability to review and challenge existing working practices, adopting Continuous Improvement principles to improve efficiencies and performance.
