They are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join their team and grow with the business in this booming industry.

Job Description

The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for the following :

• Controlling the companies logistics & expediting processes ensuring all inventory is travelling between locations efficiently.
• Fulfilling the customers requirements, by providing prompt and accurate service levels.
• Ordering various specialist products that are specific to industry requirements and customers standards.
• Organising sea and air freight schedules & negotiating effectively with freight companies.
• Liaising with specific logistics companies to understand all Import & Export requirements.
• Managing the procurement function of the operation, by preparing quotations, tenders and proposals.
• Determining customer requirements and providing advice where needed to satisfy their needs.
• Identifying sales opportunities to increase productivity and adding value to the business
• General administration duties and data entry.

The Successful Applicant

The successfull candidate will have extensive experience in a Supply Chain role within resources or a similar industry. You will have Procurement experience along with Import/Export and pricing exposure. Experience in hydraulics, pumps and oil and gas assets is desirable but not essential. You will possess a high level of attention to detail and strong communication & negotiation skills with a strong focus on client care and the ability to liaise with suppliers and vendors effectively. You must be proficient in Microsoft Office with a strong emphasis on written and verbal English.
