Job Description

Reporting to the Senior Maintenance Engineer, you will assume responsibility for managing and directing the team in relation to daily operations. Your key objective in this role is to ensure efficient and effective delivery of electrical and instrumentation services. Some of the key responsibilities of this position include:

Providing leadership to the electrical and instrumentation teams.
Provide professional engineering support and advice in helping to diagnose and solve plant faults.
Ensure preventative & corrective maintenance activities are performed in a timely & efficient manner.
Ensure compliance with statutory, corporate and departmental policies and procedures.
Address all human resource matters including manpower needs, staff training and development and Health and Safety requirements.
Assist with the preparation of the maintenance budget and control expenditure.

The Successful Applicant
This is a key role within the maintenance group and requires the appointment of a proven performer with high levels of self-motivation and enthusiasm. A Bachelor Degree or higher qualification in Electrical Engineering is essential, as are excellent analytical, planning and organisation skills and experience leading and managing teams. Experience with instrumentation and PLCs is also a core requirement. With a customer-focused consultative approach, the successful candidate will also display highly developed interpersonal and communication skills and an ability to deliver.
