About Our Client
Our client is a well-established and long-standing organisation in the heavy industrial manufacturing industry, providing engineering design, fabrication and technical support to their customers in Melbourne and the surrounding regional areas.

Job Description

Your main duties will include:

• Engineering design of mechanical componentry for overhead cranes and associated machinery
• Creating production drawings
• Conducting site measurements
• Planning and coordinating multiple projects
• Liaising with clients and customers in the Melbourne area.

The Successful Applicant
The successful applicant will ideally have a minimum of five years experience within a heavy industrial mechanical design role, with exposure to cranes and/or similar lifting equipment. Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering will be highly regarded, as will a strong aptitude for mechanical componentry and good planning skills. Due to customer and client liaison, excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, will see you succeed in this role.
