HBF work with a range of medical providers to ensure the best cost and availability of services for their members, achieving this through the negotiation of contracts and management of relationships.

Job Description
Reporting to the Health Partnerships Manager, you will be responsible for strategically building and maintaining relationships with all medical providers and industry associations. You will help identify trends and industry activity to generate and develop new ideas, proactively seek opportunities to assist with efficient management of medical benefit growth and review and negotiate new benefits with medial providers including hospitals and day surgeries.

The Successful Applicant
Degree qualified in a relevant discipline, you will be able to demonstrate professional networks within the hospital and day hospital industry in WA. You will have previous experience in proactive and strategic relationship building and negotiations and have the ability to identify and pre-empt issues of importance to HBF. Highly developed communication skills, proven ability to manage a complex workload and the ability to lead and motivate a team of professionals are all key to your success in this role. A sales background in Pharmaceutical, Devices or consumer based healthcare within the hospital environment is highly regarded.
