Job Description
A hands on role at site level, reporting to the NSW Environment Health & Safety Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
- Acting as an internal QEHS resource to business partners throughout the organisation
- Participating in workplace inspections and site audits
- Maintaining ISO 14001 systems
- Being a change champion with regards to the continual improvement of processes and procedures
- Maintaining an effective and accurate reporting system
- Coordinating & participating in EH&S committee meetings
The Successful Applicant
The role requires a candidate with an EHS background preferably with exposure to EHS in a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will possess Tertiary qualifications in OH&S or Quality/Environment and will have a good working knowledge of EHS Management Systems. Effective systems knowledge is also essential as is good influencing skills and ability to build good working relationships with your Business Partners.
