Our client is a major global energy organisation which has had high profile presence in Australia for more than 100 years. Based in Western Sydney, they manufacture petroleum and lubricant products.
Job Description
The primary responsibility of this role is to leverage the business growth opportunities through the sale of specialty lubricants to Transport & Industry customers throughout New South Wales. This will involve acting as a key interface between existing customers and our client.The Account Manager is expected to grow the business and deliver on new business targets by utilising the sales process; including identifying and qualifying opportunities, diagnosing customer needs and developing and delivering a tailored solution to address or exceed customer’s requirements. This position encompasses the full life cycle of account management including competitor analysis; developing proposals, budgets and accounts; establishment of strong working relationships and utilising other areas of the business to ensure success
The Successful Applicant
The right candidate must have prior account management or sales experience, ideally selling into the transport & industrial sectors. Previous experience within lubricants would be highly regarded. You must be a team player and be able to develop both internal and external relationships. You will have strong negotiation skills and be able to identify and act upon ever changing trends. It is essential that you have a ‘can do attitude’ and be able demonstrate a successful background in an industrial sell.
What's On Offer
This is the perfect opportunity for a professional sales/ account manager who wants to work for a global brand. You will be offered a base salary of $75,000 - $80,000 plus super. You will also receive a healthy bonus of around 25% and all of the usual tools of the trade.
