Is an innovative engineering, design and manufacturing business with a large well known presence in Melbourne. Due to sustained growth they are seeking to increase the senior leadership team.

Job Description
You will manage the process from conception through to delivery whilst constantly challenging norms and looking to improve in terms of costs and delivery, pushing towards becoming World Class. Operating as the business leader on site, the Operations Manager will be responsible for the efficient and effective operation of this facility. You will drive improvement in performance ensuring that KPI's of OEE, OTIF (On Time In Full Delivery) and PPM are met using lean methodologies.

The Successful Applicant
You will be a skilled Operations Manager ideally educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant engineering / manufacturing discipline. Due to the critical importance to the business of this role, my client requires an existing Operations Manager with a working knowledge of complex electro-mechanical assemblies and metal fabrication. You should have specific in-depth knowledge of an assembly environment. You should be a driven and autonomous individual capable of creating and empowering high performance teams and be fully aware of modern lean methodologies. You will have a hands on approach to management, developing and implementing lean tools and techniques to a diverse and developing business.

What's On Offer

Salary of $130,000 to 150,000 + benefits
